Living in a city has both advantages and disadvantages. On the plus side, it is often easier to find work, and there is usually a choice of public transport, so you don’t need to own a car. Also, there are a lot of interesting things to do and places to see. What is more, when you want to relax, you can usually find a park where you can feed the ducks or just sit on a park bench and read a book. All in all, city life is full of bustle and variety and you never feel bored.
However, for every plus there is a minus. For one thing, you might have a job, but unless it is well-paid, you will not be able to afford many of the things that there are to do, because living in a city is often very expensive. It is particularly difficult to find good and cheap accommodation. What is more, public transport is sometimes crowded and dirty; particularly in the rush hour, and even the parks can become very crowded, especially on Sundays when it seems that every city- dweller is looking for some open space and green grass.
It is obvious that living in a city has been a great deal of discussion. On the one hand, people might have a job easily, but on the other hand, they miss many good sides of a healthy life.

Huge jump scares, huge 1970s sideburns and huge posters of Starsky and Hutch feature in James Wan’s very moderate scary-movie version of a real-life news story from Britain about a reported supernatural phenomenon. In the summer of 1977, the terrified Hodgson family in Enfield, north London, came to believe their house was possessed. Paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren were called in: the couple who had been associated with the legendary Amityville case in the US.
As with the first Conjuring film, Lorraine and Ed are played by Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson. While Lorraine panics over private visions of a demon that looks like Marilyn Manson in a nun’s wimple, kindly ghostbuster Ed soothes the kids by crooning an Elvis number to his own acoustic guitar – like the nun in Airplane! Despite its frowningly serious inclusion of a meanie sceptic, played by Franka Potente, The Conjuring 2 fails to address the obvious issue to be raised by any sceptic: that pop culture may have played a part in the group subconscious. It suffers from the EastEnders paradox; just as characters on that programme can’t talk about what’s happening on EastEnders, so it never occurs to the poor souls here to say: “These real events are horribly similar to a recently released and sensationally popular movie called The Exorcist.” You’ll jump a few times in this film – it’s impossible not to, given the deafening digital stabs of sound – but this just rehashes a clutch of cliches, including a borrowing from The Babadook.

26. What is the purpose of the text?
 A. to present an opinion from different point of view.
 B. to critique an art work for a public audience.
 C. to explain about the story of the film.
 D. to inform the reader about the film.
 E. to evaluate the writer’s opinion.

27. What does the opinion of the writer about the film?
 A. The scary movie in Conjuring 2 is so different with The Exorcist movie.
 B. There are so many eastenders sceptic paradox in a whole of this film.
 C. The Conjuring 2 comes up the clickety-clack during the film.
   D. The sound effect of this movie is such slightly deaf and dull.
 E. The Conjuring 2 is not very sufficient scary movie version.

There are several positive and negative impacts of the Internet on education. One of the positive impacts of the Internet on education is that when you are curious about something. You can find out the information you need. Immediately from the Internet to satisfy your “hunger for learning”. If you are curious about the ants in your backyard, or if you want to know more about dinosaurs or any other prehistoric animals, there is an abundance of information at your fingertips and you can improve your knowledge.
On the other hand, some would argue that the Internet degrades the quality of research, throwing people into areas where the answers they find are low-quality guesses, at best. Since the Internet allows anyone to publish any kind of information, finding high quality information is sometimes difficult. The Internet can also be a huge distraction, like many other things that distract us from serious research.

B.     Both paragraphs argue that Internet has positive impact on education.
C.     Unlike the first paragraph, the second one argues that Internet has bad impacts on education.
D.    The first paragraph and the second paragraph argue that Internet is necessary on education.
E.     All paragraphs do not say anything about the impacts of using Internet on education

A Tale of Two Cities (published in 1859) is one of the greatest novels on the French Revolution. Partly inspired by Thomas Carlyle’s French Revolution, it is a mammoth work of imagination, giving a fictional account of the events and causes leading up to that fateful summer of 1789.
The novel is set in Paris and London of the 1780-s and 1790-s. Dr. Manette is incarcerated in the Bastille for eighteen years without trial. His daughter Lucie grows up in London, thinking that she is an orphan. But her life changes when her father is released from prison. Charles Darnay is an emigrant who has left France because of his hatred for his family. Charles and Lucie fall in love and marry. But there is another person who loves Lucie with all his heart and will do anything for her sake.
The novel, though long, is very fast paced; it is a novel of incidents, each incident following close upon the last. The style, the technique, and especially the humor, are typically Dickensian. Dickens’s language can sometimes prove to be difficult, but not exceptionally so.
Sydney Carton is, and will always remain, one my most favorite characters. His genius, his selflessness, his agony, and ultimately his noble sacrifice make him stand apart from all other heroes. On the other hand, is Madame Defarge, whose name is carved in popular memory as one of the most sinister and malevolent characters in literary history.
Many people, who have never read A Tale of Two Cities, have some idea about Madame Defarge and her knitting register. When I first read this novel I was too young to understand the language, but I was profoundly moved. I read it again recently- the magic hasn't worn off.

Why are Diazinon and Dursband should be Banned
Diazinon and dursban are chemicals used on lawns, gardens, agricultural crops and livestock as an insecticide or nematocide (for worms). They are banned for several good reasons.
Firstly, they cause nausea, dizziness, burning sensations, headaches, blurred visions, stomach and muscle cramps, twitching, diarrhea, aching joints, disorientation and an inability to concentrate.
Secondly, these chemicals cause human and animal birth defects in many areas of the human body including the brain, nervous system, teeth, eyes, ears, nipples and genitals. They can also cause profound growth and mental retardation when pregnant mothers are exposed. This may affect on lower birth weights of infants if mothers are exposed before and during pregnancy, and this is associated with lower IQs.

Evaluation

The novel, though long, is very fast paced; it is a novel of incidents, each incident following close upon the last. The style, the technique, and especially the humor, are typically Dickensian. Dickens’s language can sometimes prove to be difficult, but not exceptionally so.

Sydney Carton is, and will always remain, one my most favorite characters. His genius, his selflessness, his agony, and ultimately his noble sacrifice make him stand apart from all other heroes. On the other hand, is Madame Defarge, whose name is carved in popular memory as one of the most sinister and malevolent characters in literary history.

Evaluative Summation

Many people, who have never read A Tale of Two Cities, have some idea about Madame Defarge and her knitting register. When I first read this novel I was too young to understand the language, but I was profoundly moved. I read it again recently- the magic hasn't worn off.
